A Classic Fairy Tale Comes to Life Through the Magic of Ballet
Step into an enchanted world as Snow White comes to life through the beauty, movement, and artistry of classical ballet!
Students will follow Snow White on her magical journey as she encounters the lovable Seven Dwarfs, the jealous Evil Queen, the mysterious Magic Mirror, and, of course, Prince Charming. Set to beautiful and familiar classical music, this delightful production combines storytelling, dance, music, colorful costumes, and theatrical expression to bring the beloved fairy tale to the stage.
As students experience the story without relying solely on spoken words, they will discover how ballet dancers use movement, facial expressions, gestures, music, and choreography to communicate characters, emotions, and important moments in a story.
Perfect for young audiences, Snow White Ballet offers a wonderful introduction to classical ballet, classical music, and the performing arts while encouraging students to explore storytelling, imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
More than a fairy tale, Snow White’s adventure also provides opportunities to discuss kindness, friendship, courage, jealousy, choices, and the timeless struggle between good and evil.
