What happens when Father Winter decides it’s time to retire? At the North Pole, a very special young boy named Jack is chosen to carry on his magical winter responsibilities—but Jack soon discovers that taking over for Father Winter is no ordinary job!
When a spirited group of winter animals discovers Jack, they welcome him into their family and quickly learn that he has some very special icy abilities. They bring Jack to Christmastown, where he makes a new friend and finds himself caught up in the hilarious holiday rush. But with Father Winter gone, something is terribly wrong—a mysterious and ever-growing heat wave threatens to melt the magic of Christmas!
As Christmas Eve approaches, Jack must learn to believe in himself and embrace the talents that make him unique. Along the way, he discovers the true meaning of friendship, tolerance, acceptance, teamwork, and celebrating our differences.
