Ellis Island: Gateway to a Dream is a powerful, one-hour musical that brings to life the emotional journey of immigrants who came to the United States between 1892 and 1954 in search of hope, opportunity, and freedom.
Through stirring songs, heartfelt storytelling, and rich historical context, this original production captures the voices of the 12 million immigrants who shaped the cultural foundation of our nation. Six professional actors, dressed in authentic period costumes, portray a variety of characters—from hopeful newcomers to skeptical officials—giving audiences a vivid and personal glimpse into what it was like to arrive in America during this pivotal era.
