The character education show that teaches elementary students that “We’re Different and the Same!”
The Diversity Circus brings a new dimension to your school’s education curriculum.
When the show beings, kids learn that diversity means, different and the same, but to find
diversity they don’t have to travel far. It’s all around them: in their backyard, in a crayon box and
even in the classroom. The teacher might have curly hair. The new kid has freckles on his ears
and another one talks kind of funny.
And here are a few surprise from the show: it’s not always the biggest guy who is the
strongest, the short girl might be a great basketball player, and the kid with the funny clothes
and accent might just turn out to be a best friend.
But that’s just the beginning.
Kids learn respect with an amazing version of Aesop’s fable of The Lion & The Mouse,
Martin Luther King, Jr.’s message is presented as “The Amazing See-Through Kid” and a student from the audience helps prove that we should never judge others based on their appearances.
