Discover the True Spirit of the Holiday Season
A Timeless Holiday Classic About Kindness, Generosity & Second Chances
Based on Charles Dickens’ beloved classic and perhaps the most cherished holiday story of all time, A Christmas Carol is a lively and heartwarming musical that brings the magic, humor, and true spirit of the season to young audiences.
Meet Ebenezer Scrooge, a greedy, cold-hearted miser who cares more about his money than the people around him. When Christmas Eve brings three extraordinary visitors—the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future—Scrooge is taken on an unforgettable journey through his life and the lives of those he has touched.
Along the way, students will meet beloved characters including Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim and watch as Scrooge’s heart changes from stone to gold. Through his ghostly encounters, he begins to understand the importance of compassion, generosity, family, friendship, and community—and discovers that it is never too late to change.
Filled with music, humor, memorable characters, and the joy and sentiment of the holiday season, this engaging adaptation captures all the magic and meaning of Dickens’ timeless tale without being too frightening for young audiences.
A Christmas Carol offers students more than a wonderful holiday theater experience. It provides meaningful opportunities to explore literature, character development, empathy, kindness, generosity, social-emotional learning, and the power of making positive choices.
