Here at Enrichment through the arts we hope all are safe and doing well and we hope that we can all be at the theatre together soon.
In lieu of our normal season we are excited to be able to offer the following virtual field trips for you to enjoy with your classes.
Captain Friendship and the Pirates of the Pandemic: Join Captain Friendship and her trusted sidekick, the Amazing Amigo, as they go on a quest to continue to spread positivity and hope during these uncertain times. Learn some great ways to remain safe, smart, and optimistic during the global battle of Covid-19. As Captain Friendship and the Amazing Amigo meet some negative bullies, see how they are able to stay kind, even when it’s hard. They will also teach us how to pick out some big emotions, and productive ways to handle them! Come along for the ride and learn how to keep that optimistic spirit, even when its tough!
USA to Z: Just in time for election season…join Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam as they take your audience on a journey through America. Your students will learn how the political process works, the differences between the Judicial, Legislative and Executive branches and what it means to vote. At various points during the show, your audience will take part in a live-action game show component featuring patriotic prizes while our hosts entertain them with their hilarious antics. From the Constitution to the Declaration of Independence to the swing vote, this show will leave no political stone unturned.
Let it Shine: The American Civil Rights Movement: We are inspired often by the courage and work of those that came before us to promote equal rights for all Americans. So many things we take for granted were given to us by the sacrifices of others. In creating this show we wanted to delve a little deeper into the Civil Rights Movement and offer young people real role models and heroes from this dark chapter in American History. Our hope is that your audience learns about this period of time while realizing the power they themselves have to impact the world for future generations
Spaghetti in a Hotdog Bun: “Lucy, Lucy, eats stinky food that puts us all in a big, bad mood!” How can Ralph be so mean, Lucy wonders? Lucy is one of a kind, and Ralph loves to point that out. Lucy’s defining moment comes when Ralph truly needs her help. Because she knows what she stands for, Lucy has the courage to make the right choice. This tasty new musical, based on the award-winning book by Maria Dismondy, empowers children, when faced with bullying, to always do the right thing and to be proud of themselves.
